Hockey Players in Business Winter Classic Takes Place Under the Lights at First Energy Stadium

HPIB Members Play Hockey on Professional Football Field

The Hockey Players in Business (HPIB) Winter Classic, originally scheduled for February 16th, was postponed due to unseasonably warm weather in Cleveland, OH and took place in early March. The event, exclusive to HPIB members, was held under the lights on the field at First Energy Stadium. Limited to 30 skaters and 3 goalies, each participant wore an “HPIB Winter Classic” jersey. The price of admission also included 3 lower bowl tickets per participant to the February 18, 2023, Ohio State vs. Michigan hockey game at First Energy Stadium at 4 pm. The event offered HPIB members a unique opportunity to play hockey on a professional football field and watch a college hockey game. Although postponed, the Winter Classic was a huge success, and HPIB members look forward to future events. Catch some highlights of the action in the video below!
