HPIB STL Golf Tournament Raises $25K for St. Louis Blues Special Hockey

Inclusive Ice Hockey Program for Developmentally Disabled Athletes Benefits from Community Commitment and Collaboration

The Hockey Players in Business St. Louis Chapter (HPIB) held a charity golf tournament in October 2022 to raise funds for St. Louis Blues Special Hockey. The event, held at Crescent Farms Golf Club, raised $25,000 for the organizations through the participation of HPIB members and guests. The St. Louis Blues Special Hockey Club is a specialized ice hockey program designed for youth and adults with developmental disabilities, offering an inclusive environment where athletes can play ice hockey adapted to their abilities. The Centene Center in Maryland Heights, MO serves as the club’s home ice.

The success of the event is a testament to the commitment and generosity of HPIB St. Louis members in supporting their community. The funds raised will provide essential support to these organizations and enable them to continue their vital work. The event provided a platform for guests to come together, enjoy a day of golf, and support a worthy cause, reminding us of the importance of community engagement and collaboration in making a difference in people’s lives.
