Get ready for another exciting ice showdown as the Hockey Players in Business Columbus Chapter faces off with and against Ohio Sled Hockey! This event will take place on Saturday, April 11th, from 2:40pm to 3:40pm (time may vary slightly) at The Chiller North in Lewis Center, OH. Admission is free for all spectators, offering an excellent opportunity to witness an exciting (and often hilarious) matchup. This year, the event will be an exhibition occurring during the 2nd Annual Girls Sled Hockey Weekend.

Players participating in the game are encouraged to support this noble cause with a minimum $50 donation to Hockey Players in Business that will be combined and donated to Ohio Sled Hockey. To make your contribution, register for free on the event page and then proceed to the Give page and make a general donation. Your generous donations will help Ohio Sled Hockey provide invaluable opportunities for individuals with physical limitations to engage in hockey. The focus is on developing athletes through training, encouragement, and competition, advancing the sport from novice to national levels.

Same as last year, this year’s game format will be aimed at facilitating a more competitive event. Again this year, teams will be a mix of Ohio Sled players and HPIB members with Ohio Sled goals worth 1 and HPIB goals worth 3.

The funds raised from this event are crucial for the Ohio Sled Hockey Program. Be a part of this impactful event – cheer for your team and support an inspiring cause! There will be an on-site raffle as part of the weekend’s festivities to help raise additional funds. If time allows, we will hold “Try Sled Hockey” time after our exhibition game has concluded.

Join the thrill of the NHL playoffs with the Hockey Players in Business Fantasy Playoff Pool! For just $20 per entry, with no limit on the number of brackets you can submit, test your hockey expertise and strategy. We’re using Run Your Pool’s platform (or an equivalent), and once you sign up, we’ll send each entry a link to our private pool when the NHL playoff matchups are finalized. You’ll have until the playoffs start to submit your picks.

Here’s the game notes: 50% of the entry fee will go to charity, so you’re making a difference while having fun. The other 50% goes into a winners’ pot, split 65% for 1st, 25% for 2nd, and 10% for 3rd. Earn points as the playoffs unfold—10 points for each correct first-round pick, 25 for the second round, 50 for the third, and a massive 100 points if you nail the Stanley Cup winner.

· This event is open to members and non-members of HPIB. Players of all levels and abilities are welcome.

· This tournament uses a skill level based scoring system to encourage teamwork.

· Limited to 120 skaters and 8 goalies (8 teams)

· 4 games will be played by each team (1 Friday, 2 Saturday, and 1 Sunday)

Calling all hockey fans, join the Hockey Players in Business Cleveland Chapter for its third annual Golf Outing for a day of networking, golf, and charitable giving.  Play begins on August 24th at 9am at the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course (9445 Brecksville Rd.) with registration, breakfast, and access to the range beginning at 8am.  Your entry includes breakfast before the round, drink tickets at the club house, and an awards banquet following the round.  Professional scoring services through Sleepy Hollow will ensure fair play and added excitement.  Individual tickets start at $125 and a foursome is $450.

There are many corporate sponsorship levels available to support the network and get your business in front of our network.  In addition to team play, there are a number of ways to win individually: Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Longest Put.  Don’t miss out on a day of networking and golf!
