We’re using Run Your Pool’s platform, and once you sign up, we’ll send each entry a link to our private pool when the NHL playoff matchups are finalized. You’ll have until the playoffs start to submit your picks.

Here's the game notes: 50% of the entry fee will go to charity, so you’re making a difference while having fun. The other 50% goes into a winners’ pot, split 65% for 1st, 25% for 2nd, and 10% for 3rd. Earn points as the playoffs unfold—10 points for each correct first-round pick, 25 for the second round, 50 for the third, and a massive 100 points if you nail the Stanley Cup winner.

Calling all hockey fans, join the Hockey Players in Business Cleveland Chapter for its second annual Golf Outing for a day of networking, golf, and charitable giving.  Play begins on August 11th at 9am at the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course (9445 Brecksville Rd.) with registration, breakfast, and access to the range beginning at 8am.  Your entry includes breakfast before the round, drink tickets at the club house, and an awards banquet following the round.  Professional scoring services through Sleepy Hollow will ensure fair play and added excitement.  Individual tickets start at $125 and a foursome is $450.

Sign your team up now for the 16th annual Hockey Beats Down Cancer Tournament presented by the OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rinks

Dates: Friday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 24th, 2025

The 2024 Hockey Beats Down Cancer tournament was a success, raising over $22,000 for cancer research through the Ohio Health Cancer Care Fund. In fact, we’ve raised more than $75,000 in the past three years! However, as some of you may have noticed, we did encounter some issues with team registrations that have caused us to take a different approach going into 2025.

This year you will register as a team instead of as individuals. Once your team representative has signed up through the Hockey Players in Business event page, we will reach out to capture your team name. The team deposit will be $500. The total team fee will be $2000. If your team has 13 rostered players, that comes out to around $150 per player, aligned with the 2024 individual dues. Collecting fees as a team during registration allows us to better administer the tournament.

If you are an individual and are interested in playing but do not have a team, we have set up a Google Form to capture your interest. We will use this list to either fill roster gaps on registered teams, or possibly look to create a team from the individual interest list. Timeline for the 2025 Tournament:
– May 1, 2025: All team registration deposits are due.
– July 1, 2025: All team registration fees are due. At this time we will need captains to submit their final roster with USA Hockey IDs, contact information, and skill level designation. We will provide the template.

Captains, please note there are two tickets available. Your team will need to have purchased a deposit ticket ($500) AND a team balance ticket ($1500) to be considered fully paid.

Once your team deposit has been processed, we will reach out to get your team name.

Join the Hockey Players in Business (HPIB) Indianapolis Chapter for the 2nd Annual Indy Twisters vs. HPIB Charity Game on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM at the Indy Fuel Tank, 9022 E 126th Street, Fishers, IN 46038. Hosted by Matt Walker (matt.walker2@rsmus.com), this exciting event, supported by RSM US LLP, features two skates: a men’s league skate followed by a match against the Indy Twisters.

For $100, participants receive a jersey, socks, and post-game food and drinks, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Indy Twisters. An auction site will also be available for added fun. Don’t miss this chance to play, network, and support a great cause!
