Business Group Brings together those with a passion for the game.
Hockey players share a love of the game that connects them even when they’re away from the rink. Thanks to the rapidly expanding Hockey Players in Business group, former Peewee to pro players can boost their careers and support the sport with which they have common ground, or in this case common ice, with like-minded people.
“I have a lot of clients and friends who are hockey people,” said Rob MacKinlay, the founder and co-president of the Cleveland- based organization. “There is a bond, a commonality there.
People want to do business with people they like and trust, and that starts with having something in common. When someone starts playing [hockey], it gets into their blood. It is a big reason why I am who I am today.”
