HPIB Phoenix Chapter Featured Member: Joe Dusbabek, Regional Sales Manager at Southland Coatings Technologies

Joe Dusbabek is a Minnesota native now living in Phoenix. Joe played professional hockey for 7 years. He has worked in various capacities of Facilities Service and Management as well.

An experienced executive level manager, Joe continues to stay involved in the game as he has been coaching at Notre Dame Prep in Scottsdale, AZ for 12 years. At NDP, Joe continues to mentor and develop the next generation of leaders by teaching hockey as well as life lessons and being an accountable member of a team. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and a 4 year letterman, Joe started his pro career in training camp with the San Jose Sharks as a 7th round pick in 1997. After 400+ games across the ECHL, UHL, CHL, and AHL, Joe became a successful, goal-oriented manager.

Joe credits a strong work ethic along with integrity for propelling him through his playing, coaching as well as his business career. Currently the Regional Sales Manager for Southland Coatings Technologies, Joe handles business development for a national waterproofing and roofing contractor. Focused on the industrial and commercial sector, SCT is a leader in technology and sustainability when it comes to roof coatings, floor coatings, and corrosion protection.
