Eric Kleineck, is a HPIB PHX member living in Scottsdale, AZ. Eric is a driven, successful leader whose passion for hockey led him to become co-founder and CEO of Sauce Hockey from 2009-2016. A unique knowledge of the business world takes him from the locker room to the boardroom. His ability to know his customers and exceed their expectations is paramount.

Eric’s work at Gretzky Hockey School where he was an advisor, developing and launching the school with the Gretzky, showed proficiency in sales, marketing, design and team building. 10-plus years in game ops with the NHL’s AZ Coyotes, led him to develop strong ties in business and pro sports, learning how an organization handles its operations.

From customer service to vision for the business, Eric is goal oriented. In 2015, he started EK Sports + Entertainment that has created and co-founded events like Jeremy Roenick Hockey School, Pavel Barber Hockey School, Legends on the Links and BHL Cup. BHL is a boutique adult hockey tournament created to enhance the adult hockey tournament scene, providing ‘The Ultimate Adult Hockey Tournament Experience.” Scheduled during the Waste Management Phoenix Open, this event creates an opportunity to combine hockey, golf and music.
