HPIB member Jacob Weisman is a commercial insurance broker and risk management professional in Phoenix. Insurance was a professional focus for him since 2013 where he began in personal insurance writing life, health, home and auto plans for families. He has since completed the prestigious CPCU (Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter) designation and focused his career on supporting small to medium businesses with revenues from $2.5-50+MM. His approach goes beyond insurance and focuses on risk management through a consultative process. Discovering risk, developing a customized strategy, implementing a program and monitoring results. The safest companies have the most satisfied employees, receive preferred rates from insurance carriers with the best bottom line results. This approach helped him to be the insurance broker of choice for 40+ businesses in AZ and across the SW. Raised in Scottsdale and played youth hockey at the Ice Den and won the AAA state championship 7 times. He attended ASU where he earned 2 degrees in Finance and Business Management while playing four season with ASU Club Hockey from 2012-16. Today Jacob plays adult hockey in the Scottsdale Elite League with the Stars and aspires to coach in the future.
