The event will feature opportunities to meet the legends and their families, share stories of Houston hockey, induct those honored into the Houston Hockey Hall of Fame, and honor this year’s Hockey Day In Houston Slapshot Scholarship recipients.

2026 Houston Hockey Hall of Fame Honorees:
– Shelly Pottorf- 1st born and raised NCAA Division 1 female hockey player
– Terry Ruskowski- former WHA Houston Aeros forward, IHL Houston Aeros coach
– Bill Dineen- WHA Houston Aeros coach being represented by his son Peter Dineen (former NHL player and IHL Houston Aeros front office)
– Bobby Reynolds- IHL Houston Aeros forward who returned to Houston as an amateur referee and youth ice hockey coach and founded Reynolds Hockey Academy
– Chuck Watson- former IHL and AHL Houston Aeros owner who maintains ownership of The Aerodrome Ice Skating Complex
– Chie Chie Yard- the only born and raised Olympic Ice Hockey player from Houston, playing for Japan in 1998. Currently serves as Group Vice President in the NHL

– Pete Dineen- former NHL player and IHL Houston Aeros Director of Player Development representing his father, Bill Dineen
– Michel Petit- An 18 year NHL veteran who now calls The Woodlands home! CEO of Blueline Slapshot LLC.
– Blair Stewart- Former NHL forward who finished his career with the Houston Apollos of the CHL
– Graeme Townshend- Former NHL forward who played for the IHL Houston Aeros and was recognized for his community service in Houston by being recognized as the 1995-1996 IHL “Man of the Year!”
– Ron Grahame- Former NHL’er and WHA Hall of Famer playing with the Houston Aeros
– Charlotte Grahame- Former VP of Hockey Operations for the Colorado Avalanche, winning the Stanley Cup in 2001. One of only 17 women with her name etched on the Stanley Cup
